In keeping with Bema’s goal to improve quality, shorten lead-times and reduce the overall cost to our customers, we have invested heavily in new pre-press and printing technology. The Bema Tech Center incorporates all the capabilities of the newest state of the art digital plate making and proofing technologies. This unique ability provides Bema’s customers with quickest turnaround and highest quality printing available in the industry. The Tech Center incorporates EskoArtwork’s industry leading workflow integrated with Dupont’s Thermal Plate Processing Fast System to achieve the highest quality product available. Proofing is done on the Epson Stylus Pro 9880 UltraChrome Proofer and the Epson WT 7900 with Ultrachrome HDR White. Both are driven by EskoArtwork Color Engine®. The capability achieved in the Tech Center is then integrated with both our Mosstype Digital Mounters and printed on our W&H Primaflex 10 color press or W&H Miraflex 8 color press.
As with anything else the capability of technology is only as good as the people using it and without a doubt Bema has the best pre-press and printing personnel in the industry. The ability to tie the entire workflow together in house allows us to be experts in all phases of the printing process, allowing us to produce a product that is of higher quality, better consistency and faster than any company in the industry.
